Notes:

This specimen was likely the hoary bat (Lasiurus cinereus). It is the largest bat in the region, with a forearm of 47-59 mm and can have a wingspan near 16 inches. Other candidates have smaller forearms: red bat Lasiurus borealis (36-46 mm), Seminole bat Lasiurus seminolus (35-45 mm), and silver-haired bat Lasionycteris noctivagans (37-44 mm).
