"Which was presented by Mr.Wilkins Novr. 29, 1820." Poulson's American Daily Advertiser (Philadelphia), 9 Jan 1822 notes that the donor was from New Jersey and that the calf "had two perfect heads."

Notes:

Richard Harlan (1796-1843), M.D. was appointed the Peale Museum's professor of comparative anatomy in April 1821.
