Big Timber Creek flows into the Delaware River near Brooklawn, N.J.; its headwaters begin in Gloucester Township, Camden County.

The donor was from "opposite Kensington, Jersey," that is, the area now known as Cooper Point, in Camden, New Jersey opposite the Kensington section of Philadelphia.
