A publishing prospectus for this work of 5 Sep 1755 is pictured here. It states that the work was "composed from the Manuscripts of an eminent Physician, and three other Persons, who, in the Years 1748, 1749, 1750, 1751, 1752, and 1753, travelled through every Province and Island under the British Dominion; together with many of the Spanish, French, and Dutch Settlements . . ." Libraries with surviving copies (William L. Clements Library, New York Public Library, Harvard, UCLA) report incomplete sets bound in three volumes.
