Not listed on Museum auction broadside. Contemporary vellum, stamped in gold on spine; bookplate of William Byrd; inscribed: "Bought from the Remains of the magnificent Library of Col Byrd of Westover Virginia which was Sold piece-meal in Philada. 1781.82. Du Simitière." This book was presumably removed from the collection before the auction and was not acquired by the Library Company until 1845.
