Notes:

Isle de France was the former name of the island nation Mauritius. The royal garden, the largest garden in the Southern Hemisphere, was established in 1770 by the French and at the time of this donation (during the English occupation that began in 1810) was known as the Royal Botanical Gardens of Pamplemousses. It it now the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanic Garden.
