Anthonie Waterloo (1609-1690) was a painter and draftsman, but is primarily known for his etchings, which he published himself. Almost 140 prints have been attributed to him. One of the larger etchings (11 5/16 x 9 1/2 in.), Landscape with Mercury playing flute for a seated man, is pictured here.
