Etching and engraving by Jean Dughet (1614–1679), after Nicolas Poussin (1594-1665), Rest on the flight into Egypt (France, 1658-1667). The original painting was commissioned by Mrs. de Montmort in 1655, delivered by Poussin in 1658. The Bibliothèque Nationale keeps a copy of the plate, annotated by Pierre Mariette with the date 1667. The plate was therefore executed between these two dates.
