This coin (AE3,17-21 mm), minted in several western mints, may have been similar to the one pictured here: Obverse: DN MAGNEN-TIVS PF AVG (Dominus Noster or our lord Magnentius, Pius, Felix (fortunate), emperor), bare-headed, draped, cuirassed bust right; Reverse: GLORIA ROMANORVM (the glory of the Romans), emperor on horseback galloping right, shield on arm, wielding spear at a bare-headed enemy beneath the horse by a broken spear and shield.
