(Philadelphia, 1803), although since the books were sent from Europe Peale may have received John Bigland, Letters on the Modern History and Political Aspect of Europe, Exhibiting the Nature, Causes and Probable Consequences of the Grand Contest between Great Britain and France, and the Political Circumstances of the Different Nations Which Compose the European System (London, 1804), although it is only one volume.
