Du Simitière's Memorandum Books, Library of Congress, record his receipt of these almanacs from Dr. William Bryant (1731-1786), a Trenton, New Jersey physician, in September 1778.

In 1693 William Bradford published Daniel Leeds's An Almanack and Ephemerides for the Year of Christian Account 1693 (Evans 686), the first almanac printed in New York. He continued printing almanacs produced by Leeds or his son Titan for more than forty years.
