Philadelphia, October 8, 1777: Notice is hereby given, to all seamen and others, belonging to any of His Majesty's ships or vessels of war, now in or about this town, to give themselves up to the commanding officer of the Delaware Frigate; there to serve until an opportunity offers of sending them to their respective ships: otherwise they will be apprehended as deserters. /J.
