At the time of this donation the Warwick Iron Furnace in Chester County, Pa. was owned by David Potts (1757-1834); the furnace was formerly operated by Potts and his uncle Thomas Rutter (1732-1795).

Daniel Buckley owned the Hopewell Forge & Furnace in Chester County, Pa.
