Notes:

Copper medal by John Matthias Reich (1768-1833), 1806, commemorating Edward Preble's successful attack on Triploi in 1804. On 10 Dec 1807 the Peale Museum received another one of these medals from Secretary of the Navy Robert Smith (1757-1842) of Maryland via Philadelphia Navy agent George Smith, and on 4 May 1814 it received a third from James Long of Philadelphia.
