These are manuscript minutes of a council held on 21-24 Aug 1744 between the lieutenenat governor of Pennsyvania and other officials and deputies of the Delaware Indians. The minutes were later printed by Benjamin Franklin as pp. 11-16 of Votes and proceedings of the House of Representatives of the province of Pennsylvania. Met at Philadelphia, on the fifteenth of October, anno Dom. 1744, and continued by adjournments (Philadelphia, 1745).
